Just a few miles south of Charm, a small town is planning a big event. During the days of Tuesday, July 3 through Saturday, July 7, Farmerstown will boast its annual Frolic Days. With perfect timing during the warm summer, the event is sure to offer plenty to do and plenty of sales.

Frolic Days are meant for something fun to do for the locals and visitors and remains an annual event for people to look forward to. For four days, local businesses in Farmerstown will offer special sales and sweet bargains for people in attendance.

During Frolic Days bargain hunters can expect to find discounts in plenty of stores. From the Village Bakery and Coffee Shoppe, the Shoe ‘N Gift shop, and even Maple Valley Fence, discounts will be very appealing to buyers at every store. Whether it’s shopping for something large like a sofa at Farmerstown Upholstered Furniture, apparel, the Country View Wicker store, or even some tasty treats, Frolic Days are perfect for every shopper.

“A lot of people will be coming just for coffee breaks and for getting together. We are going to specialize in glazed donuts; everyone who purchases a cup of coffee will get a free donut,” said Katie Miller, owner of Village Bakery and Coffee Shoppe.

This event is sure to bring many people to Farmerstown. The annual local gathering allows businesses to host special savings and sales, along with demonstrating community spirit to help their fellow neighbors come together during the week.

In addition to local sales from the merchants, the community will host area garage sales. Area residents will have their very own treasures for sale for the bargain hunters to look through. The sales will be weeklong.
On the first day, there will be a bake sale and lunch stand at Shoe ‘N Gift. The proceeds will benefit a local community member who needs help with medical and financial problems. The bake sale begins at 8 a.m. and lunch will be served starting at 10:30 a.m. The Shoe ‘N Gift shop will only be offering their big sale on the first day. Not only will they have large sales in the store, bake sale, and lunch stand, but they will also offer a garage sale too.

The first day is the biggest and most busy day of the week because of the bake sale and lunch stand, so people who want to attend without the large crowds are encouraged to attend the Frolic Days toward the end of the week, where plenty of other events will entertain customers.

Farmerstown Upholstered Furniture will also join in this event. The deals will be rolling in for the local business, which is more than enough reason to visit them.

So come out and enjoy the annual Farmerstown Frolic Days. Good food, great sales, and plenty of entertainment will highlight the weeklong event for the locals and visitors.
