Today, the roads of Berlin were packed.  The summer sun beat down on my car turning it into an oven as I waited for the air conditioner to kick in. Struggling to find the right gear as I drove through Berlin’s stop-and-go traffic, I thought, “This is as bad as driving in Cleveland during a Katy Perry concert and an Indians versus Yankees game.”  

Once I was out of town and turned on to my little township road, I noticed the sun shining, the fluffy cumulus clouds stood out from the blue sky and the rolling hills of vivid green. It’s not hard to imagine why people all want to come and get a taste of this beautiful landscape and while traffic may get bad sometimes, the view is worth it!

Tonight after work, I might take the time to sit on the deck and stargaze, because without bright city lights, the sky is full of its own twinkling lights. Maybe I will even see a falling star.
