With a custom furniture factory across the street, Homestead Furniture packs its showroom with traditionally made items and some of America's most legendary furniture brands, including Norwalk, Harden, Classic Leather and even La-Z-Boy. However, this store has not always been a 27,000-square-foot showroom. In its beginnings, Homestead Furniture was located in a chicken coop behind a quilt shop in Mt. Hope. My, how it’s grown!

There are some aspects of the furniture store that have remained the same since those early days. It is still an oasis of quality furniture crafted from skilled craftsmen who call Amish Country home. These Amish woodcrafters have been raised around the furniture making business and traditional values of the Plain Community.
