A 50-acre wooded retreat with 4,025 feet of zip line escapades await at Tree Frog Canopy Tours.

The tour’s scenery alters slightly due to the changing seasons, but one thing stays the same-- each tour includes sky bridges, rappels and seven zip lines. With heights ranging from a short zip of 145 feet to the final 1,100-foot zip, Tree Frog Canopy Tours promises a high-flying adventure that will last a total tour time of nearly two and a half to three hours.

Guests are instructed on the basics of zip lining in ground school, where they become comfortable with the equipment and the skills necessary to complete the tour. After ground school, guests cross the first of two rope and wood suspension bridges that lead to the first tree platform.

The first zip is a short zip designed to allow guests to become accustomed to the feeling of zipping through the trees. Each subsequent zip becomes longer, higher, and faster. Guests rappel twice from the tree platforms at the mid-point and end of the tour with a short uphill hike to gain elevation at the mid-point of the tour.
