As summer weather hits Ohio many people, especially children, are reminded that it’s time for cookouts, fairs and festivals. Lehman’s is hosting a free Summer Celebration event at their retail store in Kidron that will feature all the best summer has to offer.

The two-day celebration will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 13 and 14,  from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will feature something fun for everyone. Moms can  participate in demonstrations about Lehman’s appliances, oil lamps, and organic gardening. Dads will enjoy the newly remodeled patio, which will feature experts to talk about the exclusive grills, pizza ovens and patio furniture. The children will have the opportunity to delight in a jump house outside, face panting activities in the buggy barn, as well as the chance to learn all about Lehman’s old-fashioned, USA made toys in the toy barn.

The celebration will continue with live music and the chance to sign up for a variety of door prizes. Entries can be submitted throughout the entire day and the winners of the drawings will not need to be present to win. Visitors to the store can also register to win a Memphis Pro Wood-Fired Grill worth $2,500.

There is sure to be something for everyone, including food samples from local vendors, such as roasted peanuts, homemade granola and fresh popcorn. With all the food sampling that will be taking place, Lehman’s will also be featuring local cookbooks, which will include Lehman’s latest cookbook, Sizzle! Customer Favorites for Cast Iron Cookery. This cookbook includes more than 500 recipes submitted from Lehman’s customers from all over the country. It’s a unique addition to the variety of products featured in the store.
